Because we are an active full time show kennel, we are constantly growing out promising puppies and adults. From time to time, we may have one or more young adults available. Whether we have one featured "for sale" on our site or not, it is best to inquire as to availability. Please note that we do not sell "old breeders". By the time one of our wonderful breeders is to that stage in their life, they are usually hopelessly attached to us; I know we are hopelessly attached to them as well. So they join our colony of geriatrics and live the good life in an environment they have become accustomed to and love.
Therefore any young adult that is offered for sale leaves with a bright future at its new home. It is
not a cull, simply a wonderful young adult that for whatever reason, usually space, has become available for purchase.
We try our best to make sure that a proper match is made between the individual dog and its new owners. After all, its the best interests of the dog that is most important
All breeders are given an annual booster vaccination and also follow a set
structured protocol so as to insure their health and the health of their unborn puppies. All of our dogs are on monthly heart worm prevention, starting at age 4 months.
The females are measured in the pelvis area to determine their suitability for breeding and whelping. While not all are free whelpers, there is no such thing as a total free whelping line, many of our females have the ability to free whelp if we so desire. Sometimes we actually do elective C sections due to factors beyond the bitch's control such as age of sire, average birth weight of sire's offspring and overall size of the unborn pup or puppies.
Deposits may be made on an individual dog. Said deposit can only be made to hold a dog pending full payment within the designated time. There is no long term boarding. Deposits are in the amount of $500 unless otherwise specified. All deposits are non refundable and non transferable.
